|Purpose||The evaporite karst session was held to because of the growing awareness of karst problems in evaporite rocks. Although evaporite deposits and their associated karst problems are widespread in the United States, they have received scant attention from most geologists.|
|Notes||This symposium volue is based upon a half-day theme session on evaporite karst that was held on October 28, 2002, in Denver, Colorado, as part of the annual meeting of hte Geological Society of America.|
