Purpose | state template strategic plan; Summary of new conditions / issues that will exist in the short and long-term future: The Lottery will face the same environmental issues other state agencies will face: slow economy; reduced funding; increased demand and limited resources. While law changes that will improve statutory operating restrictions are requested, this plan is prepared based on current law, without additional restrictions. The economy will continue to be a major factor impacting operations since lottery game sales are affected by how much entertainment dollars players have to spend. We also assume there may be an expansion of tribal gaming capabilities or opportunities. |
