2011 Publicly Announced New and Expanding Oklahoma Companies
· 52 manufacturing company locations announced growth in Oklahoma in 2011, totaling over $197.5 million in new investment. 7 of these companies were new to Oklahoma. 4,008 total jobs are expected to be created by all of these manufacturers.
· 61 services and other industry company locations announced growth in 2011 in Oklahoma, totaling over $2.9 billion in new investment. 16 of these companies were new to Oklahoma. 4,449 total jobs are expected to be created by all of these companies.
· The largest 2011 job announcements were made by CFS II in Tulsa (500 jobs), Continental Resources in Oklahoma City (461 jobs), ATC Drivetrain in Oklahoma City (360 jobs) and Chesapeake Energy in Oklahoma City (350 jobs).
· 44 of the 113 announced companies enrolled in the Oklahoma Quality Jobs Program administered by the Oklahoma Department of Commerce. These 44 companies totaled over $451 million in new investment and are expected to create 4,909 new jobs.
