July unemployment rates down for almost all Oklahoma counties
Unemployment rates dropped in 76 of Oklahoma’s 77 counties in July. Latimer County posted Oklahoma’s
highest county unemployment rate of 8.6 percent. McCurtain and Hughes counties rounded out the list of the
state’s three highest rates for the month. Ellis and Roger Mills counties shared July’s lowest county
unemployment rate of 2.3 percent.
