Oklahoma has a
vision—creating
healthy places to
live, work, learn
and play. As a result of this
vision, 5 Certified Healthy programs
will challenge all Oklahomans to eat
better, move more and be tobacco free.
Our state can be a Bright Spot in the
nation by getting it right—challeng-ing
schools to implement health and
physical education, serve healthy
meals, provide tobacco cessation and
other wellness programs for staff. We
can challenge communities all across
the state to create environments that
promote walking and cycling. We can
challenge restaurants to provide nutri-tion
information on their menus or use
locally grown foods. We can challenge
our college campuses to go tobacco
free or provide exercise facilities for
students and staff. We can challenge
businesses to provide healthy living
options for their employees.
We can Shape
Our Future.
